This is yet another simple dish to make. To my knowledge most of the people enjoy eating noodles. So I thought of giving it a try at home. I got bored with eating Maggie noodles all the time. So tried something new. I made it long ago and took pictures of it. I had to dig into old pictures to get hold of these pictures. I made it numerous times and it tastes good.
Ingredients:
Peas(frozen or canned) - 2 cups
Red chilli - 2
Curry leaves - 4
Soy Sauce - 1tb
Mustard seeds - 1tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Packet of noodles.
Red bell pepper - 1
Sliced onion -1/2 onion
Oil & Salt - To Taste
Method:
Boil the noodles and drain them and put them aside.
In a non-stick pan , take 2 tbsp of oil and add mustard seeds,curry leaves,red chillis cut in half. After mustard seeds pop out, add peas and soy sauce and cook for 8 mins.
Take another pan and saute onions and bell peppers.Remove the onions and bell peppers and put them aside in a bowl. Now take the same pan and add 1 tb of oil and add noodles and fry for 4 mins. Add cooked peas and sauted vegetables to the noodles and cook for another 3-4mins. Add salt to taste.
Toss the noodles well.
Delicious noodles are ready to eat.
We can use other vegetables too to saute using the same procedure depending upon what is available in our refrigerator.
